Individuals who wish to establish tax residency in Uruguay.
Real estate investment:

  • Over 3,500,000 IU (approx. USD 520,000) with 60 days of physical presence.
  • Greater than 15,000,000 IU (approx. USD 2,220,000) without physical presence.

Legal entities:

Companies that wish to operate under Uruguayan law.
Investment in companies:

  • Over 15,000,000 UI (approx. USD 2,220,000) with the creation of 15 jobs.
  • Over 45,000,000 UI (approx. USD 6,660,000) with projects of national interest.
